Eagle

Welcome to Eagle

A laid-back, private neighborhood with breathtaking scenery

Many people are drawn to Eagle because of its low density, high design standards, and quiet yet welcoming neighborhood, which allows them to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city while still having access to all modern amenities. Surrounding the Boise River, Eagle embodies both natural beauty and meticulously crafted architecture.

All of the buildings that played a significant role in this suburban city's development can still be found today because they were never demolished but instead renovated and repurposed while retaining the original infrastructure. The most notable ones include Rembrandt’s, formerly the First Baptist Church, daVinci's, formerly the Eagle Bank, and the Gathering Place, formerly the Orville Jackson's Drugstore.

  • Whitewater rafting along the Payette River
  • Live music and local produce at Eagle Saturday Market
  • Small-town atmosphere and gorgeous landscaping with water features

Local Lifestyle

Located just 10 miles from Boise, Eagle has successfully combined suburban and urban living. It is one of the fastest-growing cities in the greater Boise region.

The city easily accommodates upscale shopping as well as camping trips and popular winter activities like ice skating, snowboarding, and even sleigh rides, making it appealing to residents of all ages. The city's well-built neighborhoods, lush landscaping, recreational activities, abundant water features, and executive homes are what make it so unique and never boring. It comes as no surprise Eagle has consistently been named one of the best cities to live in all of the state.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Restaurants at Eagle range from five-star elegance to casual dining. Rembrandt’s, a local favorite, serves classics like eggs Benedict and avocado toast alongside unique menu items like Rembrandt's oatmeal and Rembrandt's Denver omelet. Crave Kitchen & Bar is another must-visit, which offers a sundry menu with everything from short rib dumplings and tuna tartare guacamole to Korean chicken sandwiches and sweet potato gnocchi. For drinks, 3 Horse Ranch Vineyards is a popular spot.

For a perfect day of shopping, downtown Eagle is the ideal location. Downtown Eagle has both outdoor and indoor areas for socializing, along with retail stores, the Saturday Market, the library, festivals, art galleries, and other attractions.

Those who enjoy being outdoors will love life in Eagle. Eagle Island State Park provides over five miles of trails for walking, biking, hiking, and horseback riding, a swimming beach, a waterslide, picnic areas, and a disc golf course. If you enjoy golf, stop by Eagle Hills Golf Course and Banbury Golf Club, two of Idaho's best golf courses.

To get the full Eagle experience, attending at least one of the city's events is a must. Eagle Fun Days is a community event that begins on Friday with a family fun night and continues until the following day, with live music, fair food, a cornhole tournament, a custom car show, and other activities. The annual event, which takes place the weekend after the Fourth of July, ends with a fantastic fireworks display.
